To meet the quality specification of our customers, George Anderson & Sons
continues to source our produce only from reputable and accredited growers and suppliers.
We are fortunate to be situated in a area which is home to some of the UK’s top growers and we continue to forge new links with local growers to reduce “Food Miles” to offer fresher seasonal produce.

All the above suppliers offer us 1st class produce with full traceability.
Unfortunately, due to the Scottish climate we are unable to source all our produce
locally. This has pushed the boundaries of the buying team at George Anderson
to source produce direct from the continent and also from markets within the
UK including Newcastle and now from Covent Garden in London.

With current increases to our turnover we are now making contacts with suppliers in Perpignon, Europe’s biggest Market.

The high quality of fresh fruit and vegetables has earned George Anderson
